Great Marsh Estate is in northern Virginia, just outside Warrenton. The venue feels like a peaceful escape the moment you arrive. The estate sits on over 100 acres of rolling lawn and wooded scenery, giving your wedding day a private, tucked-away feel while still being easy for guests to access.

The Manor House was built as a Georgian-style estate and is now one of the most stunning wedding venues in the area. The indoor space features elegant details, tall windows, and plenty of natural light — perfect for wedding day photos. Outside, the property is covered with beautiful courtyards, gardens, and paths that make every part feel magical. 

Aside from the gorgeous scenery, couples love how easy the experience is at Great Marsh Estate. From getting ready and having the ceremony to dancing the night away, each part of the day flows perfectly throughout the venue.

Wedding Day Timeline

You can have your Great Marsh Estate wedding on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. When you book the venue, you have access for the full day to get ready and celebrate without any rush.

Most couples start the day getting ready in the Manor House, with the wedding party split between the bridal suite and the groom’s lounge. From there, guests gather for the ceremony, move into cocktail hour, and then head into the reception. Every space is gorgeous and unique, making it ideal for endless photo backdrops.

Ceremony & Reception Spaces

Great Marsh Estate can host up to 200 guests and offers various areas to use for your special day. 

• The Manor House (getting ready) – A stunning space to start your day with an elegant bridal suite, fun groom’s lounge, and space for loved ones to mingle before the wedding
• South Courtyard (ceremony) – A peaceful outdoor lawn surrounded by greenery and woodland views, perfect for a romantic ceremony
• North Courtyard (cocktail hour option) – A charming outdoor area that works beautifully for an intimate cocktail hour
• Outdoor Patio at the Stable (cocktail hour option) – A larger open-air option with plenty of room for mingling, drinks, and golden hour photos
• The Historic Stable (reception) – A restored indoor reception hall with exposed beams and rustic character, plus a covered patio with string lights and a cozy firepit area
